David Ross joined Aviva Investors North America, Inc. in 2004. He is responsible for risk management, which includes derivative solutions, quantitative risk and liability-driven investing for the firm and its clients.
He has more than 26 years of finance industry experience. David previously worked for Maritime Life as the director of asset liability management.
David earned his applied science degree in pre-engineering from Abbott College, his bachelor’s degree in mathematics at McMaster University and a certificate from the ALM program at the Wharton School of Business. He is a fellow of the American Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. David is a member of the Asset Liability Management Practitioners Association, the Canadian Institute of Actuaries Asset Liability Management Working Group, the Indiana Life Insurance Companies Investment Committee and the American Academy of Actuaries.
