Steve Sweeney joined Aviva Investors North America, Inc. in 1998. He manages the firm’s private fixed income portfolios.
He has more than 20 years of financial industry experience, including four years in commercial lending. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Steve served as a portfolio manager and senior financial analyst at Equitable Investment Services and as a financial analyst with American Life and Casualty.
Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University and his master of business administration degree with an emphasis in finance and investments from the University of Iowa. He holds the chartered financial analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Iowa.
