Ron Shortenhaus joined Aviva Investors North America, Inc. in 2008. He is responsible for developing new
business relationships with institutional clients, focused on the insurance company channel.
He has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. Ron previously worked for
WB Capital Management, Inc. as vice president of institutional sales/public funds marketing manager.
He also was regional sales manager at Boatmen’s Trust Company, with additional experience at
The Principal Financial Group and Norwest (now Wells Fargo) Financial.
Ron earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Morningside College and his master of
business administration degree from Drake University. He holds Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses.
