O’Donoghue Brings Stock-Selection Expertise to Aviva Investors
Kevin O’Donoghue, who recently joined Aviva InvestorsSM North America, Inc. as a senior securities analyst, has been named a top stock-picker for two consecutive years.
O’Donoghue was named the No. 1 stock picker among U.S. insurance-industry analysts for 2007 by the Financial Times newspaper. He also was named runner-up among “The Master Stock Pickers” for U.S. non-life insurance analysts by The Wall Street Journal in May 2008.
O’Donoghue, who joined Aviva Investors in June 2008, will specialize in research on the financial services industry, with a focus on the insurance and specialty finance sectors. He has 10 years of experience tracking the insurance industry and was an equity research analyst at Banc of America Securities just prior to joining Aviva Investors. O’Donoghue earned his stock-picking recognition while at Banc of America Securities, where he focused on investment recommendations for clients using a rigorous process of research and valuation into the companies he followed.
